Domain Name Administration
Internet domain names are public resources. The HKSAR Government is responsible for making the necessary institutional arrangements to ensure that the country-code top level domains (ccTLD) for Hong Kong (“.hk” and “.香港”) are properly managed in the public interest. The Government has designated the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) to manage and administer domain names under ccTLDs for Hong Kong.
