In accordance with section 31(1) of the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553) ("Ordinance"), the Commissioner for Digital Policy must maintain for each recognized certification authority ("CA") an on-line and publicly accessible record.

1. Section 34 of the Ordinance states that the Postmaster General is a recognized CA.
2. The Postmaster General has commenced business as a recognized CA on 31 January 2000.
3. The Postmaster General's CA operation was outsourced to E-Mice Solutions (HK) Limited from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2012.  Certizen Limited took over the Postmaster General's CA operation from 1 April 2012 to 30 June 2026.
