*Remarks on Elective Subjects
- Elective subject in the admissions score formula refers to Category A subjects, including Mathematics Extended Part Module 1 and Module 2.
- Other language subjects and Applied Learning subjects are Elective are not counted as elective subjects, unless otherwise specified..
Note:
- Flexible admission conditions for JUPAS applicants (applicable to ALL HKUST programs):
- Perform well overall but miss the entrance requirement of 3-3-2 by one level in one HKDSE core subject (Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics);
- Possess an HKDSE programme score that is higher than the median score of the selected program(s) in the previous year; and
- Put the selected HKUST program(s) in Band A JUPAS choice.
