Dealers in Precious Metals and Stones Registration System (DRS)
To enhance the regulatory regime for combating money laundering and terrorist financing, the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance (Cap. 615) has been amended to introduce a registration regime for Dealers in Precious Metals and Stones (DPMS) for commencement on 1 April 2023. Customs and Excise Department (C&ED) takes charge of the regime and the DPMS Registration System to support dealers’ registration.
