CorpID Sandbox

A Free Testbed for Digitalisation
Launched by the Digital Policy Office with Hong Kong Cyberport, the Digital Corporate Identity (CorpID) Sandbox Programme provides a free simulated environment for public and private service providers to test CorpID proof‑of‑concepts and develop applications with technical support, documentation, and simulated APIs in a controlled setting.
By enabling early familiarisation with CorpID APIs, the Sandbox reduces integration barriers and development time, ensuring a ready ecosystem of services and use cases when the production platform launches, so as to attract more corporations to adopt CorpID to accelerate their digital transformation, optimise business processes and enhance their competitiveness.
Corporate “Single Identity”
Targeted for launch by the end of 2026, the CorpID Platform will offer digital corporate identity authentication, digital signing, form pre‑filling, and storage of digital licences and permits to support secure online transactions and e‑government services.
By eliminating repeated document submissions, company chops, and manual data entry, CorpID enables information reuse across e‑services, reducing errors, saving time, and supporting end‑to‑end digital workflows such as remote account opening, licence applications, and regulatory reporting.
Driving Digitalisation and Business Facilitation
CorpID serves as a trusted corporate identity layer for the digital economy, standardising authentication and digital signature verification to simplify compliance, streamline onboarding, and enable fully digital interactions among businesses and government.
Through the Sandbox Programme, industry stakeholders are already co‑creating CorpID use cases across sectors such as finance, banking, accounting, and e‑payments. As adoption grows, corporations can expect faster, paper‑light processes, lower administrative burden, and greater efficiency, reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a leading digital economy and business‑friendly international hub.
