All-in-one “eWater” Mobile App

Business FacilitationDigital Government

In August 2025, the Water Supplies Department (WSD) launched “eWater”, a new integrated mobile app that consolidate the existing WSD mobile apps into a one-stop personalised digital water services information platform with an optimised user interface and enhanced features. In response to trade and public demand for more efficient, personalised, and accessible government services, WSD has unified its digital offerings into this intuitive platform.

eWater offers a one-stop experience for all water-related services. Users can easily handle key tasks, such as opening, transferring or closing water accounts, applying for e-billing and settling payments directly within the app. The digital workflows save time and reduce administrative burden for both users and WSD. With seamless integration of the Faster Payment System and various e-banking options, users can securely settle bills from their smartphones in seconds.

Transparency and personalised communication are central to eWater’s design. The app delivers reminders about water bill issuance, payment deadlines, and district-specific water suspension notifications. Users can subscribe to updates tailored to their locations, ensuring they receive timely and relevant information. For added convenience, the app offers clear, consolidated overviews of billing summaries and payment histories, facilitating proactive management of water services.

By migrating the services of “H2OPE Centre”, “WSD Mobile App”, “General Acceptance Product Directory” and “Automatic Meter Infrastructure” to the new unified platform, WSD exemplifies a seamless digital upgrade that minimises disruption and maximises user benefits. Through eWater, WSD improves customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service reliability, all contributing to digital evolution of public utilities, smart city development, and business facilitation.
