MSOs provide strategic and practical solutions to our clients as they seek to deliver people-based public services -

As the Government’s Internal Management Consultant:

• Provide different types of consultancy services including business process re-engineering, departmental management reviews, organisational reviews, performance measurement, design thinking, knowledge management, shared services, public sector innovation, information technology application studies, streamlining of government services and reviews on business facilitation as well as market and financial analysis.

As the Public Sector Innovation Think Tank:

• Help to find and implement innovations and identify improvement opportunities across departmental boundaries, act as a catalyst to drive cross-departmental initiatives, and help to prototype and incubate new services and practices.

MSOs work as a team showing care and respect for our members, and focus on learning together with our clients and partners. We are open-minded to a wide range of perspectives, ready to take on board new ideas and keen to explore unfamiliar territory.

MSOs may be posted to work in different policy bureaux and departmental units. We work in close partnership with colleagues of different grades in providing service in the areas of general consulting, resource management and other specialised fields.
