- Holder of Diploma of Applied Education/Diploma Yi Jin; or
- Holder of Diploma and
- in the relevant discipline at QF Level 3 with a total learning size of normally 150 QF Credits; and
- learning contents covering Chinese and English Languages; or
- Aged 21 or above with 1 year working experience; or
- Equivalent qualifications AND
- Pass the admission interview.
Notation:
*: “Attained” level of Applied Learning Chinese (for non-Chinese speaking students) is accepted as Chinese Language qualification for the admission, but it is not considered as an elective subject.

Progression Pathways
Graduates can enroll in various undergraduate programmes in related disciplines or across different disciplines. These include UGC-funded programmes, SSSDP/NMTSS programmes, self-financing programmes, and overseas degree programmes. Some programmes offer the possibility of completion within one year.
HKCT 2+2 Articulation Scheme
Students who have completed a 2-year HKCT Higher Diploma programme* are eligible for senior-year entry (year 3)^ into either the 2-year CTIHE Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science and AI Engineering or the 2-year Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science and Cybersecurity programme. This pathway allows students to earn both a Higher Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree in just four years.
