Admission Requirements
Applicants with Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) results must meet:
1. the General Entrance Requirements; and
2. the School-specific Requirements.
Note:
- Special consideration for admission may also be given to applicants who had excellent achievements in STEM subjects.
If applicants apply to School of Engineering, put HKUST programme(s) in Band A JUPAS choice and fulfil the followings:- No more than one level examination grade in one subject marginally less than the University minimum entrance requirement, i.e. 332233; and
- At least 3 stars or above among the STEM subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (Compulsory Part), Mathematics Extended Module 1 or 2, Information & Communication Technology, Designed & Applied Technology, Integrated Science, Combined Science) with combinations listed below:
- At least One 5** and One 5* subjects; or
- At least Three 5* subjects
